Responsabilidades e atribuições

You will ensure the pedagogical and curricular excellence at Red House:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the school’s leadership, maintaining constant alignment with the Campus Director in implementing RED HOUSE's guidelines and promoting excellence in functional, pedagogical, and administrative results. Take on leadership responsibilities in the Director's absence to ensure continuity of operations and the smooth running of school routines.
  • Collaborate with the Director in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring an efficient and seamless environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of educational standards and guidelines set by local Departments of Education.
  • Align with school leadership to support and guide the teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous development for both teachers and administrative staff.
  • Supervise students' academic progress, providing support to maximize teaching quality.
  • Participate in the review and submission of Report Cards to families, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the information.
  • Maintain close communication with families, providing support in-person, via email, or through the school app to address questions and concerns.
  • Take part in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), especially in more critical situations.
  • Support the Director during Parents Education Conferences (PECs) at the beginning of each semester.
  • Collaborate in planning the academic calendar, including meetings, events, and field trips, following the network’s guidelines.
  • Coordinate with partner companies to organize extracurricular activities, ensuring a diverse and high-quality program.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for teaching and administrative staff.
  • Assist in the onboarding and integration of new employees, introducing them to the RED HOUSE educational system and standards.
  • Promote pedagogical training to enhance the skills of the teaching team.
  • Oversee student arrival and dismissal times, ensuring safety and order.
  • Monitor meal times and recreation periods, focusing on student well-being and social integration.
  • Assist in reviewing the school menu and necessary adjustments with the nutrition team.
  • Evaluate material requests and forward purchase orders to the finance department, ensuring the effective use of resources.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and preservation of school property, prioritizing needs with the administrative team.
  • Support in providing first aid and emergency care as needed.
  • Work alongside the School Director in analyzing pedagogical and administrative indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Suggest and implement projects that enhance operational efficiency and educational quality, aligned with the school’s strategic goals.

Requisitos e qualificações

Education: Degree in Pedagogy with qualification in Administration/School Management at undergraduate level


Experience:

  • 2 (two) years in basic education;
  • Desirable 5 years of experience in the area of Education in positions of Coordination and/or Direction

Languages: Fluent/ Native English


Specific Technical Knowledge:

  • School Management;
  • Corporate Finance;
  • Competent Legislation;
  • BNCC.

Desirable Knowledge:

  • People Management;
  • Management Change Management;
  • IB Methodology;
  • Non-Violent Communication.

Soft Skills and Values:
